Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN), reportedly employed by Moderna (NASDAQ: MRNA) Chief Medical Officer, Paul Burton, as the brand new Chief Medical Officer.
Burton succeeds Amgen International Medical senior vice chairman Darryl Sleep, who served as interim chief advertising officer. Son will proceed as head international drugs after Burton assumed his place, in line with Fierce Biotechwhich referenced an inner Amgen memo.
Burton joined Moderna as Chief Advertising Officer in July 2021 after 16 years at Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ), together with as Chief Medical Officer of the Janssen division. Previous to J&J, he served as head of world growth at Amgen.
