NEW YORK (Reuters) – The U.S. greenback rose towards a basket of currencies on Thursday, after information confirmed decrease than anticipated jobless claims and an increase in retail gross sales as markets search for indicators of how the broader well being of the economic system will affect the dimensions of upcoming charge cuts.
