California Rep. Roh Hana on Wednesday grew to become the primary Democratic lawmaker to publicly name for Sen. Dianne Feinstein to resign over considerations about her well being, saying the longtime senator might not perform her duties.
Rep. Deacon Phillips, D-Minn., later backed Hanna’s name, and Feinstein issued a press release saying she had requested one other Democrat to briefly substitute her on the important Senate Judiciary Committee.
